Winners of the coveted McKnight Foundation’s new media grant, Six Impossible Things, LLC set out to create an app to better connect the digital and physical realms. Leav, the end result, is a digital platform for placing, viewing, and sharing digital art that is both shaped by, and linked to, environmental factors like time, location, weather, and more.
The app has commissioned works by some of Minnesota’s finest artists, including writer Andy Sturdevant, artist Kate Casanova, and singer/songwriter Chris Koza (also of Rogue Valley fame).
VLNL’s Joey Kantor is one of four co-founders of the app, co-launching with the three other members of Six Impossible Things, LLC. Kantor is the Design Director, having created Leav’s brand identity, tagline, and logo, and continues to oversee design and UI for the app, now available in the iPhone App Store. Kantor also created the visual identity for the corporate holding entity (Six Impossible Things, LLC).
Does this look a project that you’re gearing up for? Let’s talk.
